Julia and Stephen have set up
The Listening Matters Studio to create performance art in the beautiful setting of Dartmouth in Devon. It is a community driven creative space where storytelling, acting, and personal growth collide. Inspired by legendary Actors Studio, they use their "Listening Matters" method to connect artists to the characters that emerge from listening work.

The flagship project, Hopebridge is a programme about a community that strives to be sustainable and resilient to economic, social and environmental shock. Its in Pre Production so you can get involved.

The stories will come from listening to people locally and Waterwaves Radio will work with the Actors Studio to create the comedy, tragedy and everything else that might emerge in any community that strives to transform itself in preparation for an uncertain future.
